Applied a hotfix today , and cannot restart the services. uninstalled the
hotfix, still no luck. getting the 1053 msg. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Can you turn up the logging on the SA and then attempt to start it again and
look in the App log and see what errors or warnings are being generated?
This should give you a better idea of what is happening.
