Hi,
I am new to exchange development.
I am looking to develop an application that manages exchange 2003 & 2007
objects (messages, attachments, and calendars) based on simple policies. I am
looking at creating a special role (i.e. additional to the roles built into
exchange viz. org admin, recipient admin, view only) specifically for this
application.
How would I go about doing this? Most of the docs I've searched online talk
about how to assign a user/group to a role but not how to add a new role.
I'd also welcome any inputs on whether or not its a good idea to create new
roles - issues with upgrades, compatibility etc.
