I have a new exchange 2003 cluster. I also have a POP3 mail server.

i am in the process of migrating all my pop accounts to exchange server.
i am using a product called pop beamer to port mail over.
everything seems to be working fine except that the domain name on the pop
server is the same as exchange. Here is when i have issues.

If a user sends an email from his pop3 account to a user that has an
exchange mailbox the user recieves it. However when the user replies back to
the message (remember same domain name on pop server and exchange) the sender
gets a NDR because the POP users hasnt been migrated over to exchange. Is
there a work around for this until i can get all the user over to exchange?

thanks

Migrate Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 My first Exchange 5.5 is setup on a Windows NT 4.0 SP4 server. Two years ago, I installed Exchange 5.5 on a Windows 2000 server (which is a member server platform) and under the existing Home Site. The NT 4 PDC and the W2K DC are trusted both ways.

Removing Exchange 5.5 from Exchange 2003 We are near completion of our exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 upgrade. We had one site with 2 exchange 5.5 servers and now have installed an ADC and added two 2 exchange 2003 servers. We have moved all mailboxes, public folder and connectors to the new ex
