I am newbie, pardon me if I sound stupid when I ask
is it possible to maintain 2 domains on one single machine with each domain
has its own web and email server ?

Email yes and web yes. For email you will need to add the additional SMTP
address for the second domain to your Default Recipient Policy the apply to
the affected users, I assume this was for Exchange 2000/2003?
