I am using Exchange 2000 SP3 on a Windows 2000 SP4 server. This is a single
server configuration (no back end server or cluster). Whenever I start the
HTTP Exchange Virtual Server, the inetinfo.exe process hogs anywhere from 95
to 100 percent CPU utilization. Exchange is running fine with the exception
of Outlook Web Access.
Just before this happened, the data drive that contains the Exchange
database used up all free space. I'm not sure if this is related, but I
freed up 7 GB of space on that drive. Rebooting after the cleanup did not
change things.
When I run the Exchange Analyzer Tool, it mentions "cannot connect to port
691 of the routing group master". I don't tknow if this is related to the
HTTP Virtual Server not running. Like I said, e-mail is working for internal
users.
If anyone has any ideas I'd like to know. Thanks!
