ex2k3 ESM misreport mailbox size

Hello,

A users outlook 2003 Exchange account is reporting 300+ MB for the entire
mailbox while the Exchange server is reporting over 1.4GB. I'm concerned
this is the case with many others. How can I fix this? Any suggestions?

Hi Matt,

I think your problem is due to high database fragmentation, follow the
steps in this article to be sure there are no problems with db integrity

to defragment the database http://support.microsoft.com/kb/192185/en-us

Keep in mind that to run both tools database need to be dismounted.
