I want to add a group of people for 1 email address, is that done in active
directory or on the exchange server it self?
example:
I have an email address named TESTERS@mycompany.com and I want to add about
a dozen names or so.

Someone told me its done in AD but I thought the groups were added on the
exchange server and the names were pulled from active directory.

Hello Tom ,

You are doing this in A.D. In Active Directory Users and Groups , Double
Click to user , come to e-mail addresses tab. Say New.
For Testers user you can give name as test@mycompany.com ,
tester@mycompany.com . you can give as this and you will receive emails.

But if you want to 1 email address and group of people , you have to create
a group.

Best regards
