Hello,
I've added three new client to our lan with exchange server 2000.
To send and receive email works well. But new messages don't
appear instantly in the inbox on these computers.
Only for example a click to calendar and back to inbox let the
messages appear. This happens with existing and new user accounts.
Server: 2k, clients: windows xp, office xp
Thanks for ideas?
Christian

Hi,

This can very well be caused by the firewall being used on the XP clients.
You need to create an exception for Outlook.

Hello Leif,
thank for your help. Now everything works fine.
If that wouldn't have solved the problem, I would try
another hint with a more circumstantial cause
