Had this problem before, so we adapted our setup.
We just got some WM5 Smartphone's which sync all their info contacts,
calendar etc really well with exchange sp2 on a SBS server. Whoopee we
shouted.
The Problem is that the pda`s which still run WM2003se won`t sync the
calendar with exchange. any ideas how to get this sorted?

I didn't understand. Isn't it syncing at all, or only not syncing the
calendar.
If it is not syncing at all, you should check if you have correctly
transferred the certificate to it. You can temporarily use DisableCertChk
from

(works on WM2003 only) to check if the certificate is the problem.

It`s only the calendar thats not syncing, we`ve just done a total rebuild of
the exchange OMA setup to see if the problem was in there some were. don`t
think its the cert the mobile 5 device hasn`t had one put it.

There is no reason why a PDA with WM2003 will not sync the calendar with the
exchange server. Either it doesn't sync at all, and in this case there is
some definition problem in the PDA, or it syncs.
You should go and check in the PDA if you have chosen in the options all the
items to be sync'ed, including the calendar.

All Thats Been Checked, What is Happening is This : appointments added via
outlook on client PC, Puts on the server but the wm2003se won`t sync from
the server it keeps coming up failed.
Put an appointment in The wm2003se device its syncs to the server and in
turn to Outlook, with no problem.
So is the device or the server
