Guys,
I have an Exchange 2003 server that the HBA Fiber card died in. The
database store is still fine. I copied the database store .edb and .stm
files to another location and want to mount them there. The log files were
on a different location and are still accessible. When I try to mount them I
get event ID 9518 - initialization of Jet failed. I checked the KB and it
doesn't really describe my situation. I've even said the database can be
overwritten by a restore but it really isn't a restore. I think I am just
being retarded here. Any ideas? Can this even be done this way? Thanks!

I figured it out. I wasn;t chaning the Storage group location. I was only
changing the mailbox store location.
