Hi,

Exchange 2007 CCR Sp1 and Outlook 2007

I have a user who recieves about 5 reminders that are not his.

Any idea what might be causing this?

-----------------------------
User is not a deleagate of any sort - The meetings are completely irrelevant
to his job
Recreated profile\OST.
Reinstalled Office
Same issue on another machine.
Not a member of any DL or shared mailboxes
Nothing irregular about his account or mailbox.
Unless have you idea's - I think the next step would be to delete and
recreate the mailbox -
But I do want to avoid this option.

Thanks

Not sure what would cause this but you may try and run outlook.exe
/cleanreminders to see if that would have an effect on the issue.

Do the reminders pop up in both Outlook and OWA? That would give you an
indication weather its a mailbox or an Outlook issue.

Does he have/use a mobile device like a Windows Mobile phone or Treo? Long
shot here, but if the phone had the appointments in its system, and they
sync, that could answer it. I know I personally have had appointments pop
up reminders weeks after the actual event because ActiveSync chose to sync
the thing at that time, for some reason. If the device this person has was
not originally his/hers, who knows what it might be trying to sync up.

Total WAG, but hope it helps.

Sorry folks tried both those options and none of those worked -
new machine and it still happens so it kind of rules out a client issues -
no BB or any other mobile device
