Hello!
I am using an Exchange2k enterprise wirh Outlook2k3.

While trying so solve another problem i deleted my whole inbox. But i
have a backup of the exchange server of friday. The backup was made with
the win2k server ms backup tool. Now i tried to restore my mailbox, but
not the otherones. But i cannot finde the file (or directory) my mailbox

You cannot selectively restore just your mailbox in Exchange 2000, you will
have to restore the entire private mailbox store to recover your mailbox.
In the process, you will also restore everyone elses mailbox back to last
Friday. The better method to restore your inbox is to turn on "deleted item
retention" for you mailbox store. Confirm this is set or not in ESM drill
down to your Mailbox Store, right click properties and select Limits Tab.
Under Deletion Settings what do you have set?
