Hello, we are needing to restore a mailbox from a Symantec/Veritas backup to
another account, i.e. one that didn't initially have a mailbox. Can this be
done on the same server that the mailbox was initially backed up from and
still resides on? If so, can you point me to some documentation? Thank you.

I don't believe that this can be done without a recovery server - see

I have been able to do this by restoring to an admin box.
