Hello:

I have configured my Information Store to write their logs to a different
volume to help increase performance. My backups are configured to do a FULL
backup twice a week which also flushes the logs. Lately my log volume has
been filling up. I need to increase the size of the log volume, so I was
going to replace the drives with larger ones. Basically I was going to do
the following:

1. Shutdown Exchange services
2. Do a backup of the log volume
3. Replace the disks with larger ones
4. Restore the backup of the log volume
5. Turn the Exchange services back on

I think this should be straight forward. Does anyone have any input?
Thanks.
