We have a mixed Exchange Org with multiple Sites. On my
Site (Admin group) i'm ready to kill my last 5.5 server.
If I do that then my SRS also goes. Since we still have
many 5.5 servers in other Sites am I required to keep this
last 5.5 server until all sites are ready? If someone
could point me to an article regarding this situation,
that would great.

Cheers!

Brian

This article will step you through the process. 284148 XADM: How to Remove
the Last Exchange Server 5.5 Computer from an
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=284148

Basically, you will not remove the SRS since it likely owns the naming
contexts for the other 5.5 sites. (You can remove 5.5 without removing the
SRS) Just make sure that you point all dir rep connectors to the SRS now.
