I am trying to remove Exchange 2003 using the instructions from "How to
Remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization"
I am having a problem with the uninstall giving me the following error.

"Setup encountered an error while checking prerequisites for the component
"microsoft exchange" 0x80072030 (8240): There is no such object on the
server."

I looked at the Mailboxes in the Exchange System Manager and I still have
some mailboxes in there.

There is a SMTP, System Attendant, and SystemMailbox. Can I delete them or
what should I do with them?

There is also one user mailbox that show that it is disconnected, but when I
try to purge it I get an error that it was "reconnected to an existing user".
I looked at the mailboxes on Exchange 2007 and there is an active mailbox for
that user on that server also. How can I get the mailbox on the old server
removed?
