I am having major trouble creating exceptions to recurring appointments in
exchange.

I need to be able to create exceptions after the fact, In other words, I need
to create a recurring appointment (this I have done, no problem) and then
later be able to amend the appointment by creating exceptions to the
recurrence.

can anyone please post how to do this? I have found some information, but
nothing seems to be working for me Sad

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was/am thinking that I need to create a new appointment of instance type 3,
using the same cal:uid as the master recurring appointment. However, I just
get a new appointment that shows up in my calendar.

please help!
