Possible to use JET_DBINFOMISC to read Checkpoint file?

I'd like to use that ESE API to read the checkpoint file, so I can determine
what was the last log read into the server.

Does anyone know if the Vista or Windows 2003 native ESE will work against
Exchange ESE? Are there any other gotchas I need to look out for?
