The exact error is:

The operation failed because of an HTTP error 440

Facility: Exchage System Manager
ID no c1030af4
Exchange System Manager

Ok so here's a bit of background info:

This is Exchange 2003 running on a SBS 2003 box. I have recently performed a 'swing migration' from an existing sbs 2000 domain, copying AD to this new server, using Ex-Merge to export all the mailboxes to .pst, then imported them all into exchange on the new box. The public folder was created from scratch and then I have imported the old public folders in from .psts as well.

I've searched for HOURS for this error and am still looking for an answer. I have found lots of articles about HTTP 405, 406 502 etc but nothing on 440! That's a file not found error isn't it??

any ideas anyone???!

Hello,

440 is LoginTimeout. It occurs when you try to access a folder or mailbox
which is protected by Form-Based-Authentication and you haven't passed the
correct cookies to the site.

When exactly does this error occur?

Kind regards,
Henning
