POP3 very slow

I'm using Win2k SBS with Exchange2000 SP3 and Trendmicro Client Server
Messaging Security for SMB, our clients receive mails through POP3, but some
of them said that the POP3 connection is very slow , it seems to be halt. I
discover that some emails jam the connection , but these emails aren't spam
mail neither virus.when I remove these emails, it works fine for a while ,
then jt will be jamed by other email again.
Please help , thanks alot.

Have you tried disabling the Trendmicro Messaging Security to determine
whether or not it is a factor?
