I was wondering is there anyway possible to run SMTP and POP at the same time
in exchange server 2000. If not which protocol is best for security and web
access.

I have Sales rep that work in the field all over and they currently login
through explorer. I want to be able to give them access to login through
outlook while there in the field by using internet mail setup. Currently we
only have access to SMTP service I need pop also. Please advise.

Hi,

POP3 is installed and running by default in exchange 2000 (ready to use but
not in the most secure configuration).

Thanks a 1,000,000!!!

My security is already in place through SMTP Virtual server and thats all
fine But thanks anyway.
