Hello,

I am unable to use Outlook with MAPI over a long distance VPN tunnel. This
always worked with Exchange 2000, but no longer works since upgrading to
Exchange 2003. Users that are connecting over a short-distance VPN tunnel
have no issues. I read a knowledge base article about black hole routers,
however, I am able to connect to a test Exchange 2000 in the office. Does
Exchange 2003 handle requests differently than Exchange 2000. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Scallica

No practical differences. You could perhaps look at using RPC over
HTTPS instead. Have you heard about that?

Yes, but I should not have use that when I have a dedicated VPN tunnel.
