We have a very strange problem in which our users are able to get their
e-mails forwarded to their Blackberries, but starting sometime on Friday
night, all the blackberry users are unable to receive any e-mails until
Monday morning around 7a.m. This has occured for about 4 weekends in a row.
Is there something in Exchange that would prohibt the sending of e-mails
between this time frame? Can someone give me some ideas on
Thanks in Advance,

How are you doing the forwarding? Have you created mail-enalbed contacts for
the blackberry addresses, and set up alternate delivery in their mailboxes
so a copy of all mail goes to the contact for each user? If not, are you
perhaps using the Blackberry desktop redirector, which will run only when
the user is logged in & has the redirector software running? That sounds
like the case - and your users are logging out over the weekend. I don't
recommend the desktop redirector - Blackberry enterprise server is the first
choice, and if not that, then perhaps the Blackberry web/internet client
(which works by proxing OWA access), and after that, the forward to a
contact method. |

We have gone from th Desktop Redirector, to the auto-forwarded messages, to
the BlackBerry Enterprise server. All three of them are failing at this
point.
Thx

What errors do you see in the BES server? I think this is something you may
need to take up with Blackberry support.....am presuming Exchange is
delivering mail to the user's mailboxes over the weekend, and it's just
Blackberry delivery that ain't working.
