Hi all,

i post in this forum because there is no exchange transport forum over
here..

i have a weird situation and a chellenging issue for the experts Smile

New Exchange 2007 installation in an old AD 2003 SP2 domain.
The domain is now in native 2003 mode (was an in-place migration from NT
some years ago).

The problem: No mailflow (internal/external). Mail sent through OWA get
stuck on the Drafts folder. Mail sent through Outlook 2007 get to the sent
items but the email is not sent.

In the applog we have errors from the StoreDriver code 1011 and 1012 each
time a msg is sent.
in message tracking some of the messages are logged as Poison... but the
poison queue is empty.

We have discarded:
- backpressure
- incompatibility issue with CRM
- permissions on the C: drive

Any clue on how to continue this troubleshooting?

Can users on same server send to themselves or is this between
Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2003 and to the Internet? Did you run
Exchange best practice analyzer?

Its a New 2007 deployment (not 200x coexsistance)
All mailflow is affected, also users cant send to themselves.
ExBPA dont show issues..
ExTRA give confusing signals... in "other warnings" tab it shows the message
"No local HUB Transport server role computer detected". But in
"Informational Items" it says "Found 1 local hub transport server role
computers"

this server is the only exchange server and it has the 3 main roles
installed (MBX, HUB, CAS)

Looks like something is really hosed up? Can you try installing
Exchange 2007 SP1 to re-install the binaries?

Installed, uninstalled and installed several times... same issue (with and
without SP1)
(tested an Ex2007 installation in a VM with same CD and it works fine..)

schema extenssion, configuration partition and group additions are looking
in a good config.

really dont know how to continue..
