I have a system administrator and she is part of the Domain Admin group and
the Enterprise Admin group and I will like to turn off the feature where she
can mount other people email boxes in Outlook. This is the only feature I
want to restrict her from doing. I still want to her to have Domain Admin and
Enterprise Admin permissions. Is there way this can be done?
Also, it’s an Exchange 2000 box.
Thanks,
Sam

Hi,
The default setting is that all domain admins have denied access to other
users mailboxes - did you change this default?

No, but she is an Enterprise Admin too. I was wondering if I could go into
Exchange somewhere and deny her access to mount mailboxs. Is that possible?
Thanks,
Sam

she still shouldn't have this ability, actually...it sounds like somehow,
she's granted herself this right somewhere...you'll need to find where she's
been granted "full mailbox access" and remove that permission...

Yes, it definitely sounds like she's granted herself access to the mailbox
store. Even if you remove it, she's still a domain admin and she'll be able
to grant herself access again.
