Hi all!
There is a problem. A user has created a contact at his local contacts and
tied it to the contact at the GAL. Later the contact in the GAL has been
deleted. But the contact at the local contact of the user has remained. The
e-mail address of this contact looked like: useraliasname (the alias of the
removed user in the AD). When I tried to open this e-mail properties I saw
all fields are empty and just Display field had such record:
/o=Organization/ou=First Administrative
Group/cn=Recipients/cn=useraliasname

So the user has sent the message to this contact. And the problem that this
message was stuck on the server and hung there for 10 days. Just after the
SMTP server was restarted the message was tried to be sent, but because of
wrong address it was rejected and NDR was generated.

The question is: why the SMTP server didn't try to send this message
immediately after queuing?

In the message tracking it looked like this:
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP Store Driver: Message Submitted from Store
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP: Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP: Started Message Submission to Advanced Queue
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP: Message Submitted to Categorizer
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP: Message Categorized and Queued for Routing
22.08.2006 08:43 SMTP: Message Routed and Queued for Remote Delivery
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Started Message Submission to Advanced Queue
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Message Submitted to Categorizer
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Message Categorized and Queued for Routing
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Message Routed and Queued for Remote Delivery
02.09.2006 07:19 SMTP: Non-Delivered Report (NDR) Generated

Thanks
