I have Exchange 2000 server, and configured on it a dedicated mailbox to
receive system messages.

I would like to launch an extrenal script upon arrival of any mail to this
mailbox, in order to send SMS with the mesasge to our IT personnel.

Is there any way to configure launching an external script/program, either
via Exchange 2000 configuration on the specific mailbox, or via client
(Outlook 2000/XP/2003) configuration?

If not, does anybody know any third-party solution to perform this taks?

Thanks,

Barak

Barak, wait for another response, but why don't you
config a rule in outlook under the profile of this
mailibox you created?
Rule: after messges arrives, with specific words in the
subject or from this specified mailbox, forward it to sms
address.

regards. Ruben.
