I had a problem with KMS after upgrading to Windows 2000 sp4. I began
getting event id: 5085 and event ID: 614 which points to a corrupts KMS
Database. I followed the instructions on Article #818952 but now can not
start the KMS service to what appears to be a password issue.

Is there a default password once a new database is created? Thank you...

I have tried "password" to no avail. Is there a way to
uninstall KMS and reinstall it?

What I meant to ask is, will it stop exchange services or
cause me to reboot? I would like to uninstall KMS then re-
install it during normal business hours if possible.
