Hello,
It's not necessarily wrong, but *@abc.com would cover abc.com and all
subdomains. abc.com would cover the abc.com domain. For more information,
refer to the context-sensitive Help, available by pressing the F1 key from
any dialog box or tab in Exchange System Manager. From the Help for that
page:
"Senders
Use this list to manage e-mail addresses that are filtered. If an e-mail
address or display name that appears on this list is used to send e-mail to
this Exchange server, the e-mail message will not be delivered to the
recipient.
Add
Use this button to add an e-mail address to the list. You can type an
individual e-mail address, or block an entire group of users by using
wildcard characters. For example, to filter all messages from the
contoso.com domain, type *@contoso.com. "
