I am in a situation where I have a Windows 2000 Server with Exchange
2000 installed and in production. I have been asked to upgrade to
Windows 2000 Advanced Server (clustering). Can this upgrade take
place without affecting the Exchange 2000 installation? Can I just do
an in-place upgrade to Windows 2000 Advanced Server without removing
Exchange 2000?

Thanks,

Doug

Hi,

It is not possible to upgrade a running exchange 200x server to a clustered
exchange server.

You can upgrade the windows OS, but you can't get exchnage to be clustered
without installing the cluster on new servers and move the mailboxes etc to
the clustered exchange server.
