currently I am working on an exchange based implementation of IM.
This implementation is required to be able to access contacts from 2
separate forests. However I can only search for contacts within the
forest that my user account resides in. Basically I can search for
anyone in any of the domains that exist in the forest my account
exists in. However, I can not search for a contact in another forest
successfully. But I can add this contact manually. Is there a
database that can be updated to acomplish this. Currently I have AD
contacts created in my forest so that I can see contacts in the other
forest. This is currently helpful for e-mail. Any ideas for IM
across forests? I would like to search by name. Thanks.
