Hi,

I have enabled IMAP services on our exchange 2007 hub transport and also
enabled a user mailbox to use IMAP. But I won't be able to connect to it.

I have also enabled IMAP setting to use plain text login.

Can someone please tell me what else do I need to enable user to use IMAP on
exchange 2007?

I have also use telnet imap to test the basic setting. Port
seems to be open but user won't be able to authenticate.

Please help.

Thanks, Ban

Hi John,

Thanks for the information. I managed to receive email now but Outlook
express still won't be able to send via port 25, with the following error.

Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions
to send as this sender', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error
Number: 0x800CCC78

Thanks, Ban
