Hi all,

Need some advice before we get a new server
for new Exchange 2007 deployment.

We are running W2K & Ex2k std edition but we are
planning to migrate to W2K3 & Ex2k7 both X64 std edition.

According to our vendor, the new Ex2K7 std edition has
"unlimited" DB store, unlike Ex2k3 is limited to 76G.
Is that true?

Secondly, in order to have better performance, we are advise
to have raid 1 on OS which is the C:\ partition and separate hdd
running raid 5 which is D:\ partition(for Exch DB store).

Thank you in advance.

Moving Exchange 2003 to new hardware I am planning to move an Exchange 2003 server (running on Windows 2003 server) to new hardware by doing a full backup of the old server and using Backup Exec IDR to restore it to new hardware. In testing this I have found that when I backup a PC and rest

Exchange 2000 BE + Exchange 2003 FE Hi, I use Exchange 2000 to back-end server. Can I useExchange 2003 to front-end server? Or only can use Exchange 2000 to be my front-end server? Thank you for your help. Ted.

Migrate Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 My first Exchange 5.5 is setup on a Windows NT 4.0 SP4 server. Two years ago, I installed Exchange 5.5 on a Windows 2000 server (which is a member server platform) and under the existing Home Site. The NT 4 PDC and the W2K DC are trusted both ways.

Removing Exchange 5.5 from Exchange 2003 We are near completion of our exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 upgrade. We had one site with 2 exchange 5.5 servers and now have installed an ADC and added two 2 exchange 2003 servers. We have moved all mailboxes, public folder and connectors to the new ex
