I am trying to migrate some GroupWise accounts to Exchange
2000.

The Extraction step works without a problem, but when it
finishes the extraction and begins the actual migration,
it fails with a message that says "Cannont Save
Information". In the application log, there is an Event
ID 10000 that states: "Could not create a profile for
Account: Microsoft System Attendant. Please reboot your
system to clear hung profiles."

I have rebooted my server several times and it does not
resolve the issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am using the migration tool for GroupWise 5.x. The
accounts I am trying to migrate are in the same GroupWise
Domain as the migration account, and it has full rights
explictily defined within the user mailbox for proxy
access. The GroupWise Client on the migration server is
5.2.5. The Exchange server is running Service pack 3.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like your migration account doesnt have enuff rights on the windows
box, i believe it needs
to be a member of domain admins ..

James,
I suggest you use the GRoupwise 5.2.2 or 5.2.3 client - not the 5.2.5. I
recall I had similar problems and found the mentioned clients to work.

Trevor
