Hi,

I am looking to move from Groupwise 6.5 to Exchange 2003 and was wondering
if anyone had any experience of this, pitfalls what to look out for etc. The
migration tools I have come across so far mention Groupwise 5.x nothing
about 6.x, is there tools for a migration of this sort available! any info
appreciated

TIA Dale Sprott

We are in the middle of a multiple post office conversion from GroupWise 5.5 to Exchange/Outlook. We started with one small office of 3 users. We researched extensively the possible approaches, we ran test migrations, and we are still having problems with the GroupWise and Exchange servers communicating so the offices can coexist during the migration. So be careful. It is true, that the migration computer may have to be backed down to GroupWise 5.X.

Be careful. I suggest setting up the test environment to match exactly what you will be converting. Do not compromise this step.
