Hi Best,
Thanks for posting here.
From the description, I understand the issue is that you want to download
Galmod tool, If I am off base, please don't hesitate to let me know.
The GAL Modify tool is located in the Tools\Client\Galmod32 folder on the
Exchange 2000 Resource Kit CD-ROM or in the Exchange\operating
system\platform\Client\GalMod folder on the Microsoft Back Office Resource
Kit, Second Edition CD-ROM.
If you cannot find the CD, Please download from the following website

Thanks Jacky
I downloaded it but it requires some programs to open it. I really want to
let users using Galmod to modify their personal details such as telephone,
etc. It's a bit annoying to require all the users to install a program
before they'd be able to use use Galmod.
Thanks a lot.

Hello Jacky
I received it and many thanks for this.
However, I do not know whether I am missing something. I used it to to
modify the address. This went fine. But in my Outlook, I opened the Address
Book, double-click on my name but the Address is still empty.
Any ideas please ?

I am trying to run this and I have tested it on my account. I cannot run the
GALMOD unless I run it with administrative privileges. If I try to run it it
askes me for an outlook profile and it is not the MS Exchange Settings.

If you try it on your own account and can only do it with admin rights
then you're doing something wrong somewhere. GALMOD works for users
right out of the box. You don't edit someone else's details through
GALMOD, they edit their own. Sure, you can edit them if you want but
you do need to add a profile for them onto your PC and configure to
ask which profile you're going to use.
