Hello,

A while back I installed a 2 node mailbox cluster in Exchange server 2007.
At that time I had problems when I tried to create the cluster in Exchange,
after having created the Windows cluster. Since then I uninstalled the roles
in Exchange and created a new clustered mailbox server with a new name.
However, I am seeing a reminder that the original, failed, Exchange mailbox
cluster is unlicensed and have 21 days left to fix it. Is it safe to ignore
this error, or do I require to take some other action? To all other intents
and purposes the cluster is operating normally.

Thanks.

I presume the failed cluster that no longer exists is still shown in the
EMC?

Unfortunately I am no longer on site with the client, therefore I have asked
them to check what you mentioned and also if there are references to the
other virtual server in adsi.edit. I will let you know asap their comments,
and thanks for the response!

Okay, the server is still shown under server configuration. It is at this
time marked as "Provisioned." There appear to be no references to it in
Adsiedit.

Thanks.
