Firstly appologies if this exact question has been asked before.
I am trying to figure out exactly what makes up the total size of my
Exchange database store. If I look in EM then my store is reported as
being about 3Gb in size. If I look at the individiual files
(priv1.edb [10gb] and priv1.stm [2.5Gb]) they total about 12.5Gb.
Looking at event 1221 it tells me there is 1006 MB, about 1Gb, of free
space in my sotre.
So my question is, how is the rest of the space being taken up?
Thanks in advance of any help,
Ian

Delete items and Deleted mailboxes are both set to be kept for 14
days. I know some people have recently had a clear up and deleted
quite a lot of stuff, so I guess this may be it. If this is right
then in 2 weeks time I should see the figure in the 1221 event shoot
up, right?
Thanks,
Ian |
