Exchange Service Account

Hello:

When I installed my Exchange 2003 server I created a user account for
Exchange and gave it all the necessary permissions. The permissions were:

Domain Admins
Enterprise Admins
Exchange Admins
Exchange Domain Servers
Exchange Services
Schema Admins
SMSMSE Admins

It is now 3 years later and I still have this account out there. I know
that Exchange 2003 runs on the local system account. I want to change this
accounts password and remove most or all of the groups this account is a
member of.

Does anyone know if changing the password will have any effects and which
groups the account should be a member of?

You didn't need to install an Exchange Sevice Account in Exchange
2003. It's too long ago to ask you why you thought you did but you
don't need it.
Disable the account and then sit back and watch in case someone has
configured that account to do or use something.

exchange 2003 service pack 2 local delivery queue retry I have a client thats running SBS 2003 with all the service packs installed. They are not receiving emails and the local drlivery queue is backed up. How do I get the messages to deliver to the users mail boxes? Thanks! Mark S. Daly
