Exchange ActiveSync + E2K3 authentication errors

User attempting sync gets authentication error messages whe he is a member of
more than 200 groups.

Solution proposed be Microsoft:
Reduce the group membership or obtain the QFE fix outlined in KB 818526 by
calling Microsoft Product Support Services.

Does anyone now where I can get this fix? It does not seem to be available
anymore. Is there an alternative to solve the group membership problem?
