Course you can.
Obviously you can't use SCC or CCR but yes, you can put Exchange
enterprise on windows standard. Not entirely sure I see the point
though since the only reason I can think of for using E2K7 Enterprise
on W2K3 standard is to use more than five stores or aforementioned
resiliency solutions. Since you're restricted to a max of 4GB RAM on
the W2K3 box it seems fairly pointless as you wouldn't use more than
four or five stores anyway.
