I have an active/passive Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003 cluster and am running
OWA just fine. However, the users sometime forget to add the /exchange on
the server URL. There is a KB article that illustrates how to configure
automatic redirection from the home URL to the /exchange and is found at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;555053&Product=exch2003
I was able to get this to work just fine on a standalone (non-clustered)
exchange server.
Question#1: Can this redirection technique be done with a clustered
Exchange Virtual Server? I cannot find the physical directory to install the
redirect.htm file, etc. as it appears to be a "virtual" directory into the
"\\.\BackOfficeStorage\dbldistributing.com".
Question#2 - How can I access this virtual directory? On the standalone
Exchange server, an M:\ virtual disk is created when the information store is
mounted, however, in my clustered environment, there is no M:\ virtual disk.
Thanks,
James
