Something has broken the ability to allow Exchange Resource Manager (a third
party tool from SimplerWeb that manages calanders for mailboxes) to manage a
resource. All settings are as the ERM requires for the service account and
logged on user - it uses a COM object to run and not a Windows service (i'm
not a programmer). The service account runs the COM object, the ERM program
verifies the service account. When trying to manage a new resource the error:
IDispatch error #3097(null) appears and the LDAP path is shown to the
mailbox resource - something is preventing access and if it is a policy, I
have ran RsOP on the exchange server ERM is installed on and the user that is
logged on to try to manage the resource and see no policy prevention.
Any ideas? The technician from ERM tried for 4 hours with a conference call
with me and remoted on the server with no sucess. The simple answer is
probably to uninstall and re install but we tried that with it not verifying
the new service account that was created to test with exact perms and
security set.
Would something be broken or is a ACL set that is hidden that I need to
unhide? I even used ADSI and don't see anything odd.
Thank you in advance
