What is the process for setting up and configuring ActiveSync with Exchange
2003 and a Windows Mobile device? Also, how do I use ActiveSync with my
Palm TREO devices? Are there any quick reference guides for that?
My second question is that I noticed that ActiveSync will synchronize
personal Outlook contacts to the mobile device, but how do I get it to
synchronize the Exchange Global Address List?
Thanks in advance,
TJC.

Hi - I'm the one who replied to your post in exchange.admin on Sunday,
suggesting that you post future Activesync questions in here. I presume you
saw that, since you're here today....note however, I didn't mean "post the
exact same message," since I also suggested you install SP2, and I included
a link to a nice tutorial by Daniel Petri. If you've already read & tried
the steps in there, please post the details of what you tried and the
problems you had when doing so.

Also as mentioned in my other post, this depends on the specific version /
model of Treo you're using, which you still haven't mentioned....

Also as mentioned in my other post, it won't do that. It can do lookups,
tho....perhaps just with WM6 (you need to mention the Treo models & versions
you're using)

Hi,
Microsoft has published a very comprehensive guide on how to do that.
You can find it at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/solutionaccelerators/mobile/deploy/msfpdepguide.mspx
Regarding GAL sync, it doesn't exist. You sync the Personal Phonebook, and
perform GAL lookups when necessary. It won't exist in WM6 as well.
