Hi All,

I m installing 8-node cluster for Exchange server.
i m able to install node 1, but while installing node 2, it is showing
an error saying that a multinode can not be created because the quorum
resource does not support adding nodes to the cluster.
And another error is 'The quorum disk could not be located by the
cluster service.'

Can anybody please suggest me, why these error are coming and what is
the solution required for it.

Thanks in advance..

Quick questions:
- what disk is used for quorum on your running node ?
- is this disk visible / accessible from the node you are adding ?

rgsd,
Edwin.

It sounds like you are running a local quorum. Check the properties of the
cluster and click on the quorum tab to check. If that is indeed the case,
then you can move the quorum to an existing physical disk resource, or you
can create a new physical disk resource and move the quorum to it after
completion. Make sure the physical disk resource that you use is part of the
default cluster group.
