We found out yesterday that you need to be a resource delegate to see who has
a room resource (conf. room) booked in exchange 2007 (office 2007/2003). how
can all users see who has booked the room..otherwise it just shows up as
busy. the exchange mgmt shell lets you add the user (mailbox) you want to be
a resource delegate..but how can we add a group of users? thanks!

You can change the default permissions on the calendar of the room mailbox
to 'Reviewer' from within Outlook. Users should be able to add the resource
calendar into their outlook for a side by side comparison of their own.

Use the Set-MailboxCalendarSettings with the AddOrganizerToSubject
parameter to allow all your users to view who is the meeting organizer
in the free\busy.

That is correct; you need to grant more rights on the resource
calendar. The AddOrganizerToSubject parameter allows one to see the
meeting organizer in the free\busy so who can see who has the room as
most of the time the subject does not show that info.

this looks to have worked, enabled AD account for resourceroom mailbox,
logged in with outlook profile, went to tools..options..calendar options,
free/busy, and set default to reviewer, as below. went to test account, and
saw the information listed (instead of just "busy"). thanks. steve
