Hi.

I have a customer where event ID 5058 appears in the
application log two times a minute. It started two weeks
ago without having done any configuration changes.
The KMS installation works just fine. The users can use
encryption and signing of messages. New certificates can
be enrolled.

The only thing that's wrong is the event in the
application log.

What's wrong???

The system configuration is:

Everything is installed on the same server.
Windows 2000 server SP3
Exchange 2000 server SP3 with latest bugfix rollup.
Certificate Authority

Joel -

Can you post the entire Event 5058? It should contain some information in
the extended text of the event that might be useful to troubleshooting the
crash.
