I have an edge server in a workgroup and whenever i run the command:

new-edgesubscription -file "c:\edge.xml" -site "sitename"

....instead of generating a file that I can take to my hub server to make a
subscription between the two machines, I get an error message saying "The
task cannot find the subscription file specified by the path". I don't
quite understand what's going on ....it seems like it's LOOKING for a file,
not trying to EXPORT data for me to import it into my hub server. Any
ideas?

Dave

You don't specify the -sitename on the export. On the import on the HT
sure, not the Edge.

Yeah, the two NICs thing. I'm not sold on it really. I just don't see
the point. Do all this with a single NIC active and probably just do
it inside the network rather than actually in the DMZ. You can
certainly move it and re-IP it later without any issue.
