We are using Exchange 2000, sp3, Instant Messanging.

We have been using the IM Client v 4.7 and v 5.0 for
Exchange.

We have a problem that our clients loose password sync
and can not reconnect to the IM server.

it give us this error: "Singing in to Microsoft Exchange
Instant Messanging failed because the password is
incorrect or the sign-in name does not exist. Check your
sign-in and password and try again"

the client is then prompted for id/pw/domain. It does
not work. We've found a work around (not very good one)
is to delete the user profile on the client PC... This is
a PAIN!

Anyone know the registry entry or file that becomes
corruped and more easily cleared than deleting the
profile would be appreciated!

Any help would be nice!

Thank you!

JLH
