I will be deploying my first two W2K8 & E2K7 SP1 servers. I have a couple of
questions which I know you all can help me with and I thank you in advance
for any help you can provide:

(1) I know the order of install is: CAS, Hub T, MB; however, my roles will
be combined so my FIRST E2K7 server will be CAS & MB and then Hub T. My CAS
& MB will be on the same server; so, I am assuming that my order is okay:
CAS/MB and the Hub T. Is this okay?

(2) We had difficulties with one of our E2K3 servers and we had no
alternative but to use the 64 bit hardware, which was purchased for E2K7, to
build a new E2K3 server. Now, I need the 64 bit server for E2K7. I want to
rebuild the old E2K3 server and then offload the mailboxes to this server.
Then, I will regen the 64 bit server for E2K7. After I install my first (2)
E2K7 servers into the organization, is there any reason why I could NOT
introduce an E2K3 server into the organization? or Should I build my E2K3
server first before introducing E2K7 into my organization?

[SS] Yes, this is OK. Out of curiosity, why not mix CAS/HUB on one system
and put Mailbox on its own system?

[SS] If you have a pure Exchange 2007 Org built from scratch that never had
Exchange 2003 in it, you cannot add Exchange 2003 to it. If you have an
Exchange 2007 Org that at one point did have Exchange 2003 in it, but no
longer does, you cannot add Exchange 2003 to it. If you have an Exchange
2007 Org that had and still does have Exchange 2003 in it, then you can add
Exchange 2003 to it.
